ViteJS is really faster compared to CRA that I previously used. It's really a breath of fresh air. Thanks for creating it! Now we only need something that is in the same vein for tooling that generates libraries. I currently am using T

I agree. Our current laws were not made in the time when these technologies were widespread. Legislation of a new law would be the better solution than trying to classify them as a monopoly.

Please check your privilege. Not everyone can afford iPhones even if they want to buy one.

I agree with the equipment. To the point that I just bought a great Dell Ultrasharp monitor to use instead of my company issued 1080p monitor at home. Life is too short to spend on crappy screens.

Software optimization depends a lot on economical reasons. Which is why it is so hard to prioritize over new features IMO.

5950x is the last greatest chip on the AMD4 platform. I think their would be enough demand for it in the future for the price to stay high.

That was before the M1 laptops. I would say that most desktop users would be better served keeping their workflow than moving to a tablet workflow.

That's your wishful thinking talking. Most people are still on USB-A, especially those who are not tech savvy.

Not sure why people are still confused about this. Apple is a company. It is beholden to focus on profits for it's shareholders. Why give users more RAM for free?

And why wouldn't an M1 laptop fill this use case?

Unfortunately, that only happens in first world countries. Lots of countries still don't have a single Apple store.

But that also applies to the other person. Going with what you say, no anecdote is data.

We wouldn't even need to discuss this if only Apple supports target mode.

Yeah, I don't think they will ever make a dock nor an external monitor. I have resigned to just settling for good enough displays like the Dell U2720Q which does feature a 90W USB-C connection that charges my laptop.
