Thanks for the feedback. The pitch with Revise is it's a fully integrated agent inside a word processor. The "copy and paste between ChatGPT and docs" is the workflow I set out to improve on a la PG's "find somethin

This is an amazing move by Apple. Most excited I've been about an Apple product launch in a long time. Low cost, high quality, colorful laptops are back.

Anonymous users’ docs are stored in their browser, so as long as they don’t clear browser storage their docs should still be there. Appreciate the input. :-)

Thanks for the feedback. I will try that :) Revise can already do a lot of things neither Google nor Overleaf can so I think it has an edge.

Tradingview’s charts couldn’t handle a million data points. They typically just render a few thousand candlesticks at a time, which is trivial with well optimized Canvas code.

Classic HN snark. It’s an example that is supposed to show the edge of its capabilities. You won’t find another word processor that can even come close.

Yeah, didn't even mention the fact that you can't Opus on your own hardware. Total waste of cash.

Imagine buying hardware that will be obsolete in 2 years instead of paying Anthropic $200 for $1000+ worth of tokens per month

It’s not just good for small code bases. In the last six months I’ve built a collaborative word processor with its own editor engine and canvas renderer using Claude, mostly Opus. It’s practically a mini Google Docs, but with better documen

What is the right pattern? Do you just send a list of tool names & descriptions, and just give the agent an "install" tool that adds a given tool to the schema on the next turn?
