There are successful companies built around all sorts of licensing schemes, but that doesn't mean that you are in a position to say what's best for 10gen's specific situation. Also, all of the official client libraries for mongo are Apache

I really doubt that usgs.gov (#978) gets anywhere near the number of visits that nfl.com gets (#993).

It doesn't actually move your cursor, just an image of a cursor. You should be able to copy & paste the URL out of your address bar as it is animating; you're right that just showing the URL after the user clicks 'Search' might be more

I'm not sure of the details, but this may be complicated by the fact that a lot of government source code was produced by outside contractors.

While the city of Washington used to exist as a legal entity within the District of Columbia, these days it's all just the District. Including both D.C. and Washington, D.C. on the map would be including two names for the same thing.
