Are we really so stupid that we cannot see through this kind of thing and need to actively censor it to have civilized society continue to function? When do we just give up on democracy completely?

If it was Signal, Tor or Freenet that was primarily used would you support a similar ban?

The client in question here doesn't use Electron at all, so I don't think that'd be too relevant.

I currently use a 55" OLED for much of my gaming, but it is indeed a smart TV, not a dumb one and not a computer monitor.

IPFS isn't really built for it - at least, not with anything built in, but this is exactly how Freenet works.

There is still, somehow, nothing I've found that's better than Thunderbird for an open source desktop GUI email client. Little choice but to allow it for many users like myself. Worse still - even many of the proprietary ones now

Am I missing something? I don't see any mention of a blacklist in that thread. They did close it because of course, they don't want to be in Limewire's position, where they get held responsible for the tech they built because

Even if a bit of additional information is needed it'd be nice if this was made public and documented such that developers and modders could use it outside of those with tight nvidia deals. Their website literally just says "conta

This is the big paper in The Lancet from a few years back that basically dispelled the "drinking is healthy" myths. Drink to relax or drink for fun, but don't expect anyone to tell you to drink for your health. https:/&

I was able to perform a minor tweak to the installer to make RTX voice install with my GTX 1080, so I'm a bit iffy on calling it a real "feature" of Nvidia's cards when they're clearly artificially restricting it in

I think we'd see a serious boom in Windows on ARM if ARM vendors had a performance benefit to offer and Microsoft implemented a backwards compatibility layer as Apple has in this case. The difference here is in the offering. Microsoft

Yeah, I switched back to just plain old piracy last year. One button on Sonarr and it's on my NAS and playable on Plex on all my devices a few minutes later. I'm done. They had the right model, but it's gone now. Oh well.

What's the relevance to HN here? Yes, youtube-dl got whacked from github, but I doubt the youtube-dl users - especially on this site - want to replace it with a closed source, Windows-only, proprietary GUI tool with no reputation at al
