This is a serious amount of effort for what I imagine is little payout. I really enjoy work like this and hope that he is able to make a living off it. Anyone have thoughts on how to make projects like this more sustainable?

You’re comparing database to a trust-less distributed fault tolerant system. Of course the db has a smaller energy footprint but it doesn’t provide the same features. It’s like saying a bicycle rolls down the road just as well as a car so w

This is career suicide and undermines the ecosystem due to the loss of trust. Honest question, what can be done to address this type of issue? Lock fines are great and all but people rarely dig into their dependencies when upgrading. How ar

I’m not sure how I feel about the placement of Java and C# with regards to energy efficiency related to golang. I get that they are optimizing JIT compilers and golang is not going to get any better after the compile step but this seems odd

It seems like AI could be setup to address this. I would think it would be insanely useful. Personally, I’d rather look at an enriched summary than the original chat log in most cases. Can somebody get on this please :)

The project is super cool but I agree the logo is a terrible example of it in use. I'd love to see a more easy to digest example. The logo circuit is confusing and I'm not sure what to make of it.

What are the use cases for this? Is this a good fit for Memory based testing for db stores? Also, I can’t seem to find documentation for how this compares to SQLite

Thanks for the answer! I'd love to know more :) Also, I'm not following, how you guys deal with issues with unique counts? For example, lets say you've got 100 unique visitors on Monday and 100 on Tuesday. The unique visitors

I'm going to get down voted for this, I realize it isn't for everyone... If it's not for you, no problem. Let me know what you prefer. Anyways, try golang with imgui. You can make imgui look like anything. Ontop of that, you

Lots of negative comments here. Can someone actually comment on whether this is even remotely possible today? Or is this more than a decade away?

Lol there is no way they will be scanning for just one type of thing. That would be a waste of computation. They will tag everything and decide if they want to use it later. Scary times; for exactly the reasons you've called out.

I'm happy to see people held accountable for being scummy human beings but this does raise the question of where the line will be drawn and who gets to make that decision.

Let me clarify, my point is neither about their wealth or expertise. I'm simply pointing out that this could be a similar point in time for future commercial travel; focusing on their wealth is beside the point. Or it could fizzle out.
