If you assume that almost all the mass of a galaxy is in its nucleus, then the only "orbits" allowed are conical sections (ellipses, parabolas, hyperbolas): there is no such thing as a spiral trajectory. You would need a very unu

Forget about the expansion of the universe; you could ask the exact same question for an observer moving away from a source and detecting a different frequency (hence energy) of the light emitted due to "normal" Doppler effect in

We have definitely not observed spontaneous creation of virtual pairs in a vacuum. I do not blame you for thinking so as it is often described this way. Almost no computation in Quantum Field Theory can be done exactly. What physicists do i

Toronto, the city mentioned in the article, is in Canada. "Fisa courts" are a U.S. entity which has nothing to do with what is being done in Canada.

The numbers do not (fully) support your argument. We have a similar situation in Canada in terms of expectations ... but the for the price paid by students which is signficantly lower. And, the participation rate is 54% for Canada compared

1) How many popular sites point back at Breitbart? At least initially, Google's search algorithm appeared to be based on the number of such backlinks. I imagine it still does to a certain extent. I doubt very much that the net traffi
