The problem is not that Scrum doesn't have these things. The problem is that Scrum is a heavy and rigid set of processes that, besides a few useful things, adds a lot of unnecessary overhead. Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Goal, ev

Maybe last-mile mobility is a problem that requires public-private partnership. Public communication does not need to bring profits, it needs to serve the citizens. If public communication limits need for parking space, limits traffic jams

I take a day off to avoid the akward feeling of having my co-workers singing "happy birthday" to me. Besides that I don't really celebrate it. I enjoy celebrating achievements, like some success at work or a big milestone in

My guess is that they tried to keep advantage as long as possible to remain number 1 in streaming, so they didn't want to give their leverage to competitors. Their advantage was licensing (Marvel, Friends, The Office etc.) and tech. In

Same with the resumes. It's ok to have a section and list a few certificates, but quite regularly I see people put logos of some certificate programs on top of the resume, next to their name. It doesn't make a good impression.

The web is the decentralized web. A server that you can keep at home that you can plug in to make it part of this huge network of machines located all around the world that communicate with each other - this is the decentralized web.

I've used Jira in my last 3 jobs. I tried to like it, I tried to tolerate it, now I just try to spend as little time using it as possible. I'm an engineer, I'm a problem solver. I want to add a task, move task to "doing&

This is amazing, especially the punchline! Some of the Netflix specials I've watched had jokes that were not much better than this. I'm sure with a proper delivery (tone, pauses) it would get quite a few laughs if it was presented

I think this is ok for software with linear releases, for example closed-source SaaS applications. You can easily see the date of the release and compare 2 versions. However a lot of software, especially in open source, does not follow line
