The other evidence though is that Forstall has been depicted as "the bad guy" for a long time. Well before he was expected to be departing. http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/scott-forstall-the-sorc... He was even described as CEO-in-W

Your position is absurd and contradictory. The hype and popularity exists because Apple has produced very compelling products. The iPod and the iPhone were both leaps and bounds ahead of the competition at their launch. It's also clear th

Statistics are derived from uSwitch.com, plus our network of mobile phone comparison partners. Seems like its based on affiliate revenue and # of pageviews of the deals. uSwitch is a deals-comparison site.

Sure you can argue that. But any App Promotion App is ultimately downloaded from the App Store originally, so I'd assume it's reasonably obvious. But even so, I don't think that Apple's adding a specific clause to their App guidelines due t

Nah. All app promotion apps that are affected are ultimately sending sales to the official App Store anyway, so there's no impersonation of the payment channel. It does affect a class of apps, including AppShopper (mine).

But making it out of plastic would lose some of the thinness/strength benefits from a unibody aluminum enclosure. Apple uses a single block of aluminum: http://thetechblock.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/iphone5_t...

App Store is basically just a web browser, so easier for them to upgrade. They do make changes over time that don't require software updates. One big one I remember is forcing people to have bought an app to be able to rate it. But you ar

Even if you don't believe the link. It's just common sense. Jobs died a year ago, and he basically worked right up until he died. This phone was certainly on the drawing board for more than one year.

Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit? Sure, they can block sites and no one will blink an eye,. I think the difference is what kind of service it is. the blocking affected Instapaper's users perhaps more than the site itself.

Doesn't a popular iOS developer have the same information? UDIDs, APNS tokens (for push notifications), basic demographic information is something a popular social app or game might have. 12 million is a pretty good number, though. edit: o
