Just like writing fiction, no one cares if you keep repeating yourself as much as you do. Keep using the de facto standards so that your fellow devs can easily read your code and get on with their work.

Any site that does not support Firefox Android is bound to have serious quality issues. Or maybe the implementation of the site is an act of malicious compliance designed to deter engagement and dissent.

First the truck driver and now a hotel owner - it's nice to see real people doing real work on HN.

So what if the rest of the industry is terrible, how does that make ghost kitchens acceptable?

You could use an extension like uBlock origin to write your own filter that removes embedded tweets from any and all sites, e.g. something like: ##.embed-twitter badsite.com##.embed-twitter

I really dislike this trend of people doing content marketing directly on HN. Especially when it's shallow.

It's a shame that Firefox Android still hasn't got its shit together wrt add-ons. The current selection is abysmal. It would be nice to have the same addon setup on desktop and mobile and have settings sync across devices.

I've suddenly been having issues with Fastmail and tikTok and I wonder if it's because of the same issue?

Because people have businesses to run instead of fucking around with latest bullshit trend in web dev. I doubt that JamStack will be a thing in 10 years whereas I can easily see WordPress existing in another 20 years.

I would say this is one of the great myths of globalization and that we should offers consumers plenty of competitive offers from the EU primarily.

EU has a total lack of vision when it comes to in-region manufacturing. Imagine if the Union decided that 50% of all goods would have to be made in the Union within 20 years...

Even when it comes to Win desktop development, Microsoft is fast losing ground to initiatives like Electron [0], especially when it comes to new consumer software. If the trend continues, MS frameworks and libraries will mostly be used by l

Why stop there? Web apps can trivially be taken down if your domain registrar, hosting provider, datacenter partner or payment solution decides to kick you out.
