Why not just ask the user for permission for all APIs that interact with hardware? Not all apps need it, and the ones who do, should be able to explain why. The Battery API was removed due to fingerprinting concerns, but a permission-asking

I'm using ZTE Open as my only phone for around 5 months now. It works for me. I have upgraded a few times, though you have to download a lot of git repos to compile the latest builds. Compiling the build takes a lot of time too. I'

I would love to use such a thing! I'm bugged with programs I don't use anymore which start on system boot. Even after removing some programs, they just don't go away. A sandboxed environment would be really good to use!
