I don't know much about git, but wouldn't it be possible to just build the push/pull mechanism on top of git? As git works, why not just use it already?

You'll definitely catch a job sooner with knowledge of F#/Erlang/OCaml or Scala. Though knowing haskell isn't a con! If haskell is on your CV, they know you've got the right mindset. Learn scala wouldn't be difficult for you except from

I like the design, and good luck with your company! I couldn't help but notice the arabic on the page, so I Was wondering if you have seen the programming language قلب already. I love how you can stretch the arabic letters to do code for

git is decentralized. Any sane sysadmin wouldn't use github as a 'central' point, but set up an own remote to which you push. Then every once in a while from that remote, commits are pushed to github. heck you wouldn't even really need a

Monads should be a familiar concept for the seasoned C# programmer. LINQ's 'from in' syntax and the haskell monad 'do' syntax are almost the same! Heck, the type signature of SelectMany and (>>=) are even the same! (>

My math teacher worked on a MAV project in the US before he moved here to become a math teacher. scary shit. He also designed systems for heat-seaking missiles and underwater torpedoes. He's amazing in a scary, lethal way

I find that argument valid for functional programming languages with no type system like LISP. They promised us black box abstraction without giving us hints about what kind of data a procedure takes. but with Haskell the type system usuall

Haskell is a great example where interface and implementation are decoupled.. typeclasses are used a lot to describe problems with similar patterns. Look at monads, monad transformers, applicatives and functors. I don't think half of them

Reading C++ code always gives me a weird feeling something is inherently wrong with the language. Header files containing nearly all the implementation because that's the only place where you can define templates is so odd... ( https://cod

Is this created by a third party based on own design ideas, or is this by a third party, based on ffOS design guidelines (do they exist already?) or is this published by mozilla? It looks really great, but those were some questions that cam
