A lot of people are missing the point, debating whether this was reasonable or not. Mark got away with telling Congress ~"we don't share with third parties" and now they're saying Blackberry's not a third party. If

The last one with the truck does count, I agree. If it enables inattentiveness, it's likely to cause harm. The Skoda driver makes less sense: if you are trying (like he was) to stop, brakes should always outpower the engine. Unless t

Insurance rates will probably go up on "self-crashing cars" if this trend continues. For some reason, people aren't dying so dramatically due to cruise control. I love cruise control, because it helps me focus on "drivi

I thought Travis really did want to use the limo(s) himself. Wasn't shared access to high-end limos the original idea? And didn't the Airbnb founders put the literal Ur-airbed in their own house? I think you are right that there

Well, you'd be wrong by a mile! On my machine, the .map(..) way is almost twice as slow. It ain't even close. But you're right, I failed to consider that it's "probably optimized". And "C++". /

I run a Mac Pro 5,1 (2010). It's a fantastic piece of hardware and I doubt we'll see anything quite like it anytime soon. It's ancient in a sense, but it's very fast and it runs OS X 10.12. I wanted the pre-2013 model
