Academics (pure academics) don't have a good track record predicting valuations/prices, period. The people who actually have the ability or to predict valuations/prices (better than the market) are busy making millions, if

This sounds like a misleading / high-pressure sales call, but if you read into it carefully there's nothing that indicates to me anything illegal, scammy, or even anything that would back up the claim that Yelp penalizes businesse

You're forgetting the tax credits on the Model 3, which probably won't exist when the Model Y is released. This is also an important factor for the future because the price of the Model 3 will likely be lowered as the credits expi

I think you've got it flipped. A CS/math degree, and/or STEM graduate work, are very strong indicators of generalist skills and exposure to breadth. And graduate work is a strong signal about someone's ability to learn

Minor correction: the area was actually very well lit with street lights. The Uber dashcam video was just poor quality so it gave the impression it was really dark. https://arstechnica.com/cars/2018/03/police-

Amazon is clearly not a lemon market (and by clearly I mean it's a textbook case). Amazon is a company that guarantees/warrants the products (buyers have effective recourse to return products). In the paper's model this preve

You're agreeing with me. Tesla in all likelihood does not freeze development of a chip model for 4 years before releasing it. So you cannot compare Tesla's current chip with a Google chip that is 4 years old.

Everything we know about how Tesla operates as a company indicates that they do not freeze development of a technology or component and then spend four years testing and verifying it before deployment.

My own theory is that everyone else is thinking the exact same thing: looking for a "great deal" 1-3 year old used car. So demand for these cars is quite high. Modern cars are much more reliable than before, and that is reflected

That's not necessarily true anymore, and is pretty inconsistent. Most crossover "SUVs" (which are the best selling segment of cars in America), for example, are classified as cars.

Just know that the Costco price will always be higher than the price you could achieve by negotiating, simply because dealers pay Costco a referral fee for each sale made through the program. It's great for getting quotes though.
