Just because an AI can get generate semi-plausible news items doesn't mean people are likely to believe them. After all, the source of the news is what conveys authority to most people. Otherwise, it's just a random blog post.

In my opinion it looks a lot more like the single-page Web Form paradigm than the MVC paradigm. Some people enjoy its convenience... Personally, I'll be happy if I never have to work on a 'code behind' page ever again.
