I think something else worth pointing out is that even rehabilitation in the case that someone will never be let out of prison serves a purpose as it makes the prison more effective for those who will.

But the successful bad actors are more noticeable because they are near the top of the search while those you have to unpunish are hard to find. Even if they can easily find them I think the real reason they want to stay away from it is tha

I've seen some of the discussion related to SteamOS and the Raspberry Pi. Looks like SteamOS has no ARM support, so that is likely to be a hurdle. Something similar is Limelight which streams your computer to a PI including keyboard an

I have not been involved behind the scenes. I'll point out liquidity seems like a likely advantage of splitting shares. You can do smaller trades with a wider audience/more frequently. The added liquidity would also make the share

Living in Japan it's much more acceptable to eat pink or even raw chicken here. I will vouch for it being much easier to cook a nice juicy (and tastier) piece of chicken when you don't need to worry about under cooking it.

I don't particularly disagree with your moral relativism. But I will point out that there are obviously axioms we can base our beliefs on (be they "harming people is bad" or "gods are good so do what they say") and

It's actually the opposite, historically rediquette was to upvote quality and not downvote just because you disagree. Where as HN policy is to downvote things you disagree with. The difference is just that reddit grew faster and had a

The Commonwealth has different restrictions on interference with churches. There is no constitutional guarantee in the UK. Similar to how common law countries generally limit freedom of expression to not include hate speech.
