Yeah, my bad. Already mentioned it in one of the other comments and it's also noted in the docs. I had to tap a lot into PM to implement more advanced features so it definitely should have been included.

I know. I've explored pretty much all the options when working on this and Monaco and CM are definitely top choices. That said, for languages I'm working with (web) and for the future potential of e.g. connecting to remote languag

For me Safari seems to be working fine, except some broken styling. Will try to explore more and fix what I can.

Forgot to mention underlying ProseMirror ( https://prosemirror.net/ ) as well. It's doing "even-heavier" lifting and is necessary for implementing more complex mechanisms like the code editor integration or var

I think there is use for good WYSIWYG-Markdown integration. Can't really speak for others but, when writing longer forms of content (technical blog posts, docs, etc.) Markdown becomes a bit more difficult for me to navigate. I always f

Sorry for that. Forgot to include it in the drawbacks. I tried the editor as-is on iOS and it wasn't a good experience. All the menus (for blocks and inline) just mess with the OS's built-in menus and aren't good for touch. I

Yeah, that's roughly aligns with what I've experienced. RSS is beneficial to publishers when reach is the top priority (e.g. it's a company marketing blog or the ads are "embedded" directly into the content).

This might be the solution. RSS readers could serve as a general link aggregators (like HN), but with immediate listings of the latest content from your favorite sites. Too bad most just prefer to get rid of RSS entirely. On the other hand,

I didn't know the RSS feed could be styled - it's an interesting insight. That said, on the RSS as a whole, for most websites (mostly publications I suppose), adding RSS feed is a set-and-forget thing. Sure, it's great for re

This is really nice! Well-designed and can really help with creating box-shadows in CSS (which, on a side-note, is a real pain!). I have personally long given up on trying to create a perfect shadow in CSS and just use those available onlin

I see at least 1st and 2nd class very often in longer-range public transport, like trains. That said, I don't think the lack of higher class options is the reason why people don't use public transport. Some other reasons I could t

Never would I have thought that "&" was ever part of an alphabet. It's more of a symbol, like "." or ";". HN is sometimes a source of curious things.

Which way to go will depend on your use-case and what websites you want to scrape. For occasional web crawling, headless browser is great as it's easy to set up and you're almost guaranteed to get the data you need. For frequent o

Like I've said in the original post, the decision to open-source was made only a while back, after the core was developed as primarily a closed-source service. I decided it'd be very hard to compete with a closed-source CMS, let a

Thanks! I think that with something that allows for incremental adoption and "raw Markdown mode", this might be possible. Vrite isn't there yet but maybe it'll get there in the future. Also, yeah - integrating Monaco was
