I’ve made my own personal vote against this behaviour by no longer patronizing businesses that do this. The only way (short of legislation) for consumers to change tipping is for businesses to be aware that having pinpads with options like

I scrolled through and didn't see anywhere that they defined what "complete" meant. It could be as simple as Canada counts a skyscraper as completed when the first residents move in versus perhaps America counts it as comple

Very cool. Effectively, ChatGPT is using tools now. I wonder how much longer before it evolves opposable thumbs :)

The reality is that everyone alive is susceptible to these scams. No human is impervious to being victimized by these groups. They will pay good money for information to target people. Originally, some scammers would aim for early mornin

This extortion is so common that it has an entire subreddit devoted to it (/r/sextortion) and it's often busier than the /r/scams subreddit.

Fundamentally, similar to freelancing sites that learned their customers were really the businesses paying for work... airbnb has learned its customers are the businesses renting out rooms. There's an unlimited supply of people seekin

Paypal stranded me in Atlanta when I rented a room for a week and they denied the charge. So I called their customer service and got the worst customer service experience of my life. The rep would talk over me, literally speak gibberish,

One must only take a glance at the ownership breakdown of any major story on Ground News and it will be rather clear they may be onto something. 3 or 4 conglomerates are often 85%+ of the news sources.

There’s a lot of bad networks out there. I won a number of Fortnite battle royals testing this and it was rock solid 120 fps, barely any detectable latency at the 10 ms ping I was getting. The lack of noise actually made me prefer it over

If you’re just scrolling the comments, I recommend checking this out. It’s a lot funnier than I expected :) GPT does a great job of making it marginally believable while completely unpossible. Love it!

Reading this really points out to me how killer of a deal that GeforceNow is. I truly don't understand why more publishers don't allow their games on the platform.

Completely agree... the only exception I've run into is that for small operations build tooling often doesn't work well with arm64. EG: GitHub actions can build a container in a few minutes in x64 or 35 minutes in arm64... likewis
