I think that your benchmarks are a bit off: instead of comparing 5to6 with Traceur + Runtime, you should compare 5to6 + <polyfills> versus Traceur + Runtime (or 5to6 vs vanilla Traceur). Same, the Op/Sec doesn't tell us much

Yep, that's the big thing that Virtjs allows compared to the others: listen to runtime events. The Pokelib is currently a kind of proof-of-concept and, as such, doesn't map all Pokemon game events (yet!), but it already have a few

I work in a startup, and I know that my equity is peanuts, but I have really no idea about how to use it. Someone should make a talk about it.

Actually, the real point of flipping a coin is that during the brief lapse of time during which the piece is in the air, you will know what's the choice you prefer. The result doesn't matter.

Because softwares are not the only one to use cycles. For example, in the GB, some memory space is only adressable during a few cycles, and so you have to optimize your code when you wish to update the video ram. If you miss the window, too

The only size-related optimization that I can think of is that V8 doesn't inline functions (but does optimize them) when they are more than X characters long, comments included. I'm not sure about SpiderMonkey, but they may very w

I'm not sure why you're talking about asm.js (I guess you're implying that asm.js is the only Gecko-specific optimization?), but I just want to note that I find it pretty hard to find good documentation about how to code with

And "let" will have a totally different meaning in ES6. It's a bit weird to use a keyword from some language with the same meaning, and another keyword from the same language but with a totally different meaning.
