   Pretty much, most other services for chat are for single participants like hangouts (or most XMPP clients) and it doesn't make it particularly easy or obvious how you would invite others. That's generally what I meant by 1v1 when

    This is super slick, once loaded. I haven't tried commenting or posting, but as a reader, I'm pleased. My only criticism atm would be seeing a completely blank page with NoScript on.

    It started off as just a way to play around with socket.io, but eventually ended up as a bit more. Can you do true anonymity with no-signups with XMPP? I don't know a lot about it, but I'll definitely look into it!

    I agree! Though it's a bit too wide with a huge monitor. Perhaps they should consider maybe 80-100em max-width?
