Nim has been my favorite language for a while now, and I'm very excited to see version 2.0 finally released. A lot of these features have been items I've been looking forward to for some time. The only downside is some of the incl

The Youtuber MKBHD has a podcast[0] where they have mentioned that many in their office has switched over to it. I'm not sure I quite understand their enthusiasm for it, but I don't think they're paid shills. [0] https:/

Agreed. I don't use a Mac anymore, but I've been hearing about this browser and how excellent it is, but their website does such an awful job of conveying anything that I'm surprised anyone ever started using it. Actually, to

I don't think that's a bug, Twitter has been really limiting what non-users are able to see anymore. I think the bug is that the X shouldn't be there at all (there's a joke here somewhere as well)

That rebranding will have some benefits, but won't really be viable for the general user until 2037.

I was using Ubuntu until about 2021 or so when I started to become frustrated with it and switched to Arch. Not only did it solve my complaints, but I think using Arch has made me more knowledgeable about my systems as a whole. It's no

I'm one of those people. It depends on the use case. VSCode has a plugin to use a Neovim instance behind the scenes, complete with supporting (some) plugins and configurations. At work I exclusively use this, since it has debugging sup

I started playing around with nvim-dap, but after struggling to get it working and learning how to use the UI, I think for me it's a step beyond what I find Neovim good for, and instead I'd rather stick to something like VSCode fo

It could be the other way around, their Linux market share is poor due to their poor support of it. Also, the types of people who use Linux also tend to be the types of people who would be interested in their product.

I believe this is how GOG ships all of its Linux titles, all of the installs I've used from them are downloaded as a single *.sh file. I just checked an example game, and it looks to be using this method.
