Well, I bought a 13" MBP a month ago (waited two months in case of an Air update, which came two weeks later) after having a 15" as my primary machine for 3 years. The screen size is fine and I didn't notice the difference going from 15" -&

I'm pretty sure the pro-base wasn't split. Dealers/growers should account for a very small percentage. Obviously the monied interests will have a louder message (prison unions, growers). Also, why did you use "agin'" rather than "against"?

Sounds nice to work with chess as a programmer. I remember about 10 years ago when I was too young to pay for an ICC subscription, I would continually use a two-week trial by changing the volume ID on my hard drive.

By websites I'm assuming you mean places to play poker. Full Tilt and Poker Stars are the most common if you're in the US. Two Plus Two is probably the most popular poker forum. There's also a few subscription based training sites like Card

His PTR pages clearly show most of his hands at 5k/10k/20k NL. That's not medium stakes. I'd guess his losses at 40k/60k/100k NL /are/ due to luck; doubt he's a -20BB/100 loser at those games.

I haven't browsed it in about five years, but the Google Hack Database ( http://www.hackersforcharity.org/ghdb/ ) had a lot of these kind of things.

I've taken one year of Arabic. The first two quarters were with a white girl from Alabama who studied at the AUC. She was great. The last quarter was from a Moroccan, he was not. Point being don't put too much weight into having a native sp

Are you associating good design with build quality? I've had my MBP for three years. In that time, I had to replace the topcase (keyboard/touchpad) conveniently after one year warranty expired. I found a replacement on Ebay, however I lost

I remember first seeing the MIT guide and it sparked my interest, however I didn't want to make homemade picks. Can you recommend a good lock pick set?

That seems a strange way to put it, as if these grow on trees or something. They are expressly designed for mass murder. The wikipedia article for peaceful nuclear explosions didn't show many other successful uses. Are there others I may no

Better to admit to it than get caught lying. Also any financial/credit problems in history will probably ruin your chances (more susceptible to blackmail I was told). I was an ordinary programmer in the Air Force, however I obtained a top s

Basically what I am wondering is if he were to make a post to Pepsi's blog on Posterous, what would the federal crime be? The parent has a lot of upvotes, so I really want to know why they agree he committed a crime, rather than found a bug

To clarify, before you were comparing a tree of every possible move in a chess game against the decisions in a poker game? That has to be a joke to compare the games that way. Even here you mention number of relevant moves at a given game s

If I recall, there are more possible chess games than atoms in the universe. So even if you were to quantify toughness as number of possible decisions, it would still be completely off. However, in both those games, a lot of the plays would

I am not sure how you quantify toughness, but this is the worst use of "orders of magnitude" I've ever seen. More so, since I have spent a nontrivial percentage of my life playing both games.

Just because there is an element of chance doesn't mean it's not a "true" game of skill. Sites like pokertableratings.com and sharkscope.com keep track of cash and tournament winnings, and maybe 100k hands gives a good sample that overcomes
