I know this is derailing the main thread, but then why are studios choosing not to release finished movies on streaming? It seems like they could recoup at least some of the expenses compared to just shelving the thing forever.

I was about to say the same. I'm currently buying a place in Germany and the fees are 3.57% per broker. So if you just use the seller's agent then it's 3.57, but if you have your own then it's about 7% total.

Even if they only made 1 million on the movie, how would that not still be preferable? It makes no sense to me

This has nothing to do with criminalizing the creation of CSAM. It's fingerprints on existing material that has been identified by law enforcement. "New" material won't have been fingerprinted yet.

I think this is a misconception about psilocybin and drugs in general. Just like "the dose makes the poison," the dose determines how much control you have. Small doses of acid/mushrooms are very common among partying festiva

It's not the water weight, since they're always dried. Not every mushroom has the same % of active ingredients vs the rest of the dry weight. You could have one big weak shroom or a tiny potent one.

> We often don't realize how warm the world we live in truly is, from a physics standpoint. Or cold? There is a big ball in our solar system sitting at tens of millions of degrees K, and you think 273 degrees is warm?

There's also some sort of ban in place in my home country of Germany. I think there's technically no ban, but people keep getting arrested for protesting regardless.

You're using solar energy to separate the saltwater from freshwater. You're not going to gain any more energy than that from mixing them back again, so this idea is just solar with extra steps.

To say that this thing that actually happened didn't actually happen would also be propaganda. Every statement has bias. I'm just pointing out that this isn't a joke image, it's a real image.

That's a problem with embedding then, not with compression, right? Would embedding a raw video with commentary not also have the same problem?
