What do you mean "What the hell happened?" The question is about how we handle the coming elections four years from now, not the previous one. If he's going to be a dictator it will only be possible when he's in power.

Why does it matter? Why should the machinations of China scare me more than the those of an oligarch?

> The US government is an extremely complex system and there is no way they would have reached a bipartisan conclusion on this if there wasn’t strong (confidential) evidence to support it. I'm sorry, but this is not a good assumptio

OP maligns people for not knowing what it means, but it seems like it’s a nebulous term with no concrete meaning.

I agree with your skepticism on this, but youth suicide rates have been steadily climbing. Unless we were misclassifying suicide, it seems like there is a rising mental health crisis.

It's the explanation, but it still makes no sense to me. "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures..." You really have to twist that in biz

As a counterpoint, I bet if you had told people a thousand years ago that swordsmanship would be less interesting to people than kicking a ball, they would also think you were crazy.

Why “given no further context”? One of the people you replied to gave the EU regulations defining “portable.” That’s context.

Agreed. I built a big friend group in a short time in my city just by going to the same club every weekend. There’s a second part to this though. You have to put in some effort to break people out of “club friend” into “real life friend.” M

Whether it's boring and whether it's a waste of time are both pretty subjective. I found it to be an engaging way to shake off some rust, though admittedly I'm not going to make it through the whole month.

You're correct, but I'm also curious how you could measure accuracy here. There isn't any easy way that I can think of.

Why would it be uncorrelated? It is not unheard of for people to lose their job due to health issues, which then means they lose health coverage too. It's like they never really had coverage at all.

Completely disagree. You're right that a lot of homeless people have mental health or drug addictions, but that's often caused by not having housing. People start out well-meaning and lose their homes for financial reasons, then
