I guess it depends the person, dealing with sqlite + python doesn't need dependencies or custom drivers and is easy to do/easier to manage for me than bash scripts

I tried both and am using Joplin. Has less fuss around it and I focus more on simply taking notes .. the syncing is also cheaper and you can use for work

50 customers ? You can build it with Django and sqlite with zero dependencies and deploy via scp, run it on the cheapest DO and call it a day. Easy to scale later too and you will be developing/deploying the business logic from day 1

I don't know, I've only used chatgtp 3.5, haven't tried other things. Out of your questions I would think only the last one would be a good fit. The first one is open ended and I don't think M1 came before the "cut
