My girlfriend is reading the Daily Mail like I read Hacker News. I don't know which website is worse for our well being but I try to read the day best voted submissions and it is enough to keep me updated with everything else.

It looks very nice, it makes me think of Flux. The problem with wysiwyg editors from previous generations (Dreamweaver, Frontpage, etc) is that you could never arrange the layout the way you wanted and ended up being developers worse enemie

I am wondering if there isn't any copyright infringement like derivative work when you grab a webpage and then do some monitoring on it through your website. It is worth asking a lawyer. Otherwise I think this is a cool project too.

It depends on your infrequent needs. Are you using advanced Illustrator features? I also cannot justify a subscription to Adobe CC and try to use Sketch as a Fireworks/Photoshop alternative.

£1.49 for a very basic HN reader is a bit premature. I like that it is iOS7 designed though. A couple of suggestions: - Comments - Instapaper or similar

I completely agree with you. I do cycle sometimes as well and since I am an occasional driver as well, I try to anticipate motorists behaviour. I think it is all about understanding each other ecosystem and mutual respect.

Exactly! The Nexus4 is still sold out as we speak and even if you manage to order one, you will get a 8 weeks window for delivery but Google will make you pay £10 for "express" delivery. What a joke.
