Because this is the latest media du jour. It's like consumer reports saying it can't recommend the phone despite them rating it the highest rated smartphone. The whole antenna thing is completely overblown.

This change is completely crazy. I don't understand the people who think that this is a good idea and I couldn't care less about the "gamer stigma" others are mentioning. People in my real life know I'm an avid gamer and so do (obviously)

It should be noted that this story was shopped around to the highest bidder. http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/10/07/01/exclusive_conv... I question the credibility of the exchange. The whole thing could've been some elaborate troll to

Please include "trivial" as well. I cringe every time I hear that word.

I was going to post something similar but decided against it at first but seeing as it looks like I'm not the only one that thinks so... The article comes off as extremely biased and seems (to me) to pass off a number of opinions as fact in

What I fail to understand about this whole privacy outcry on Facebook is why people thought it was some lock box under their bed in the first place. It's a public web site and the main focus of it is to (key word here) SHARE information wi

I agree. The main reason I even came to the comments for this article was to say that. I'd even be willing to pay up to about half what they're charging for it. Up until then, however, I'll go without.

You forgot to mention the other HUGE addition that I know I've been waiting on for years... Multiple monitor support! I use VirtualBox as my dev environment every day and I know I'll be more productive when I can use both my monitors for de

I found out about Minecraft sometime late last year and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys these types of games. Right now Notch (the sole developer) is working on adding multi-player support to the latest version of the "surviva

The Sketch is nice with Sketchbook Pro but I've been a bit disappointed with it as far as writing text goes. The tip of it is roughly the same width as the body of the stylus and it's blunt so it's a bit hard to tell exactly where you're g

Which app(s) do you use for your notes? I've been looking at some of the productivity apps on the App Store trying to determine which one would be the best for what you describe (jotting down ideas, whether they're text or diagrams, hopefu

From the article: "Why? Discussion on the Scratch forums suggests that it’s because Apple wants to focus on consuming media using these devices, not producing media. Want to be truly computing literate, where you write as well as read?

The other part I don't understand is how the telecoms think they're actually going to get Google to pay this in the first place. If they tell Google they won't carry the Google traffic over their connections if they don't pay (sounds a bit

This article reads like a troll (either that or it's meant to be satirical). It feels like the author is drawing at straws to try to pull as many "reasons" as possible. Why do I think it's a troll? 2. iPad will not save the news industry,

It doesn't really matter which OS it's running if it does what I'm looking for. I know the iPad will have a wealth of apps that do what I want (or I'll write my own) it just won't have the pen input and the notebook feel I'm looking for. I

I picked up a 13" Macbook (unibody) at the end of last year because I was looking to do some iPhone/iPod Touch development. I'd always wanted to give OS X a go because of the underlying system and I've become a big fan of the OS. I'd have
