We use SWC with ts-node to strip types in dev for faster iteration loops and run the full tsc typechecker in CI (and optionally as a separate process on your local machine).

The only Apple device I buy Applecare for is the Airpods because the battery really does degrade dramatically. I set a calendar reminder for a few weeks before expiration to get them replaced.

Up until June 14th of this year, the ruling was that scraping is legal from the HiQ vs LinkedIn lawsuit[0]. While finding that link for you, I learned that since that date, the Supreme Court vacated the decision back to the lower courts i

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it." This quote shows up often, but it really is just perfectly pithy.

I've been a happily paying customer of Spotify for nearly a decade now. This is the kind of shit that makes me reconsider returning to piracy.

IMO the only fair solution is their own incarceration for the equal number of days, but the only real consequence will be a slap on the wrist. Notable cunt Annie Dookhan[0] is responsible for putting up to 40,000 innocent people in jail by

IANAL, but it seems to me that cell tower triangulation data proves a phone was at a given place at a given time but says nothing about who was in possession of the phone.

I'm happy every time I come across this site - it's always a fun way to spend some time, and I've found more than a few great artists here.

If you're using OS X, try using Spotlight or Alfred directly (Keypirinha[0] is a reasonable Windows alternative) - just type in `1 + 2` and you get the answer without launching a special app. There are plugins for conversions as well.

When I was at UT Austin for a CS degree, PHL 313k (symbolic logic) was a requirement. It was a very difficult class, but very rewarding.

Fastmail's web UI is incredibly good . I've also been using it for several years on my custom domain and have zero complaints. The migration process was pretty painless. I did a one time import of my historical mail from gmail an

This will get a lot simpler in the next couple of months when Neovim 0.5 ships with built in LSP support.

Looks good, but I'll hold out for a similar upgrade in the Mini form factor. I don't see the extra size, weight, and sharp corners as an improvement for reading in bed.

I searched a bit - I think you're correct, and also offline support looks to be in beta in the Swedish version of Spotify, so maybe it's actually coming at some point.

Pretty sure Apple doesn't expose the correct APIs to allow this on the GPS model of the watch - at least that was the case when I last researched this.

I didn't see it in the article - does anyone know which model year this will take effect from? I'm in the market for a new 4Runner, but that may switch to a used model instead.
