And college is viewed by some as having dubious value. I know plenty of kids who racked up $200k in loans and can't find a job for the life of them.

Maybe I'm crazy but I'm a solo founder (I have a great support system of other founders) and I rarely find myself depressed. At times I'm angry at myself for decisions I've made but hindsight is 20:20.

Already read it, I'm in the comments on the blog entry a couple times. If GHash were actively exploiting this advantage I'd be saying the same thing but they aren't and there's a high probability that they never will.

@bane is right. I had similar experiences. Is it something you can get over? Sure. Is it something you want to get over? Maybe not. I still feel "numb" in day to day life.

I used ubuntu for a long time... This has all gone way to far. Gnome was great, I even installed it over unity. Linux isn't about "convergence". I'll stick with Fedora for now, thanks.

I've been broken into before too, it sucks. What was the method of entry? Can you prevent the same thing from happening again by improving something? That's better than the alarm IMHO.

You're absolutely right. ASICs can include ram internally or use external ram modules just like a computer. General purpose processors are generally cheaper and more effective for memory intensive applications.
