I suppose things that cause most of the problems don't exist in vi, eg (24 bit) color, image protocols or $TERM dependent features

Well yeah, I'm trying to guess what you're implying; are you just saying "we need better tech"?

"tmux capture-pane" strips escape sequences that break the terminal and sets all the right variables; try using expect with e.g. neovim

So, researchers are insanely lazy/secretly against AI/controlled by the Big Data?

If language is a dead-end application of language models, I don't know what isn't; the tooling is architecture agnostic anyway > after transistors were invented But we don't have "transistors" yet, what's

I also don't see how this requires heuristics, but usecases do exist; eg I set `CLAUDE`, so that a git hook can mark vibe commits -- a prompt would be a waste of tokens and would introduce non-determinism, and MCP is yet another depend

you can use your claude code subscription with opencode (not sure how "legal" that is); github copilot straight up provides an api (very "legal")

I can highly recommend bubblewrap for sandboxing -- configuration is just CLI arguments, one per a mounted path; I use a little script that mounts CWD, claude stuff, and XDG data directories in RW, and the rest in RO. To me it seems like th

What's your point, we should all wait until an actual genocide is a possibility, before we even acknowledge that a literal purpose-built nazi AI is concerning ? Even if it had nothing autonomous to it, how can "programmatic antis

I can't imagine interacting with computers without fzf, zoxide and nix anymore; everything else feels relatively inconsequential Wondering if there are any other life-changing tools I'm missing out on...

anthropic provides a custom devcontainer for sandboxing, but I have fallen in love with bubblewrap - it's a single command, and I get to keep all the infrastructure: e.g. it can do nix flakes without duplicating every derivation

I think you're looking for federated/distributed learning. From what I understand, nobody quite figured it out yet. Relevant 2021 NIPS paper: < https://arxiv.org/abs/2106.10207 > On difference between fed
