I really doubt that was the point of the essay. I have seen many a times where different programmer rewrite the entire system and it is not for the lack of proper documentation.

Totally. I love the kernel style over anything else. Even the GNU style for C isn't something I am very fond of. Still there are some languages where 4 spaces indent is fine. But two is just horrible. Also I like tabs. Convert tabs to

Indeed. Success is a little more complex to measure than being employed at DropBox or Google. And also varies from person to person.

Hah! yes. Maybe I should have put it the way you did. My view of Haskell is the same as a non-Lispers view of Lisp. Cry about too much parens and it making things difficult to understand. Doesn't mean the language needs to be changed.

Yes I do know FPs a great deal. I DO NOT harbor any kind of hate towards Haskell, just never found it easy to understand(or read, to be more specific). Also this link makes me want to learn it more than ever now.

Oh dear lord, you misunderstand me. I dont want to implement Haskell in C-style. Haskell is good being haskell, I just had difficulty understanding it and never had enough time to dive deep into it. But now I may.

I have been wanting to look into Haskell for a long time now. Never really got the time. Also the syntax was a bit off putting. Just skimmed through. I see that there is a bit of Javascript and C in the code too as reference matertial. Most
