That space is currently littered with all kinds of new projects given the urgency. One that has stuck with me is the German Rheinmetall Skynex which works the way you are describing. It’s like a really high tech flak cannon. There are neat

I have to wonder how large the advantage may be if even present at all. Excluding any residual mobility issues from the surgery there’s still all the other aspects of leg kicks he has to deal with like the brutal pain a leg kick causes. I d

I’m curious about the limitations you’ve encountered with ClickHouse’s JOINS, I’ve found it sufficiently robust for dealing with the typical operations

Agreed, have been a hetzner customer for years running a myriad of services there without issues.

It would be better if you provided constructive feedback over emotional or meme-ish commentary. it would help the author improve and the rest of us understand.

Cut my teeth with drupal back in the day. I walked away after 5 years feeling like I stifled my growth as a programmer because all I ended up doing was hacking away at this behemoth of a framework to try and overcome all of it’s idiosyncras

Fascinating. This is certainly a hot space right now and this seems to strike a good balance between being low level enough and saving time. I do wonder though, are there issues with getting it to do the same test every single time without

Interesting idea. I imagine they could go in some sort of permissions drawer/ list that has a badge letting you know an app is waiting. Any app that you’re currently interacting with and is up front could pop the dialog the same way it

What if they’ve read 10,000? does it become strong shade? or is your whole threshold made up because you love the milquetoast copy on the page and the comment bothers you?

Maybe they hope to live in a planet buffet where they can all be exploited non stop and we don’t have to deal with “minor inconveniences” like the devastation of the one functional planet we have. Mars must be getting sold by timeshare sale

It’s quite good for the price if you use the seats, considering you also get YouTube music as well, it’s not a bad deal in my opinion. I ended up liking it over spotify quite a bit.

Yeah I would be terrified to stack something I build against Apple just due to the integration level. It’s so easy to get muscled out, they own the walled garden. It’s interesting how they’ve abstracted out of the typical web app access pat

Yes, share of voice is a lot simpler to reason about and is still done nowadays. It all comes down to yield maximization. One buyer may buy x% of impressions of y quality, so the publisher/website will try to extract as much value from

This has been done in the industry from very early on and is typically referred to as "Contextual" advertising. I and the company I co-founded are huge proponents of contextual as it generates positive ROAS (return on ad spend). T

ClickHouse JSON certainly has some sharp edges because they do a lot of schema inference to transparently column store the component parts, which makes it tricky with anything that could be irregular. Big fan of CH on my end. Will follow yo
