I can attest to this. I used Node-DV in a production environment and it's pretty damn amazing with all its built-in functionality. There are options to adjust the image in various ways and once Tesseract runs, it's easy to get the

Sounds awesome, how would you recommend someone get started with PS? I'm CLI-only dev, use Node, code tons of front-end but all I use to do is CMDer, VIM, and SSH all running together.

I'm Czech and I can attest to something similar in my country with its measly 10 million people. There's a Bohemian and a Moravian/Silesian dialect. Bohemia is part of the country where Prague is and with that dialect, you ca

what would you recommend as the best "getting started" with Flux and/or Flummox? React is pretty damn simple to grasp but building apps with it and Flux has a steep curve.

Sounds like the service should have been backup-only, not a pseudo Dropbox-like service. The problem here is the expectation and the reality. For example, I use Backblaze for backup, and backup-only. With that service, I almost expect it to

I agree with you there. It all depends on what subreddits you get on though. They can be just as bad or worse.

I'm a user of both and I'd say both are great but both have deep-seated issues that make me wary of using either at all. HN HN is wonderful in that you're more likely to learn something from the comments and have an intel

I'm not sure if I can agree with that. In my 10 years of development, I encountered only one company whose tech side had to work under such conditions. Any other time, it was a rarity, maybe like 3-4 days a year in case of emergencies.

I think the reason why rates fluctuate so much is that developers don't know their worth (positively or negatively). It's nothing you can truly measure . There are shoddy developers with $150 rate and great developers with a $70
