Such file systems already exist. Take a look at HFS+ and Spotlight in OS X Leopard. It is not the only example.

What if a box were provided near the top of the document with the document's current name? To rename the file you simply type the new name in the box. Users should never really have to worry about saving. Google Docs does a good job of keep

If you are going to create a new site in this space it has to be at least as good as Kayak. Tripeedo fails horribly. As others have mentioned, a site that simply opens numerous windows with the results from each site is not adequate.

I don't believe that SOAP is especially popular in the Python world. Note that an XML-RPC library is included with Python, but a SOAP library is not. Most "web services" are likely done using REST.
