The one thing I can't leave Spacemacs/Doom for is Org Mode. I have everything there now. Is it even feasible for Org Mode layer in Spacevim?

I don't know about regular vim, but you could do this with NeoVim.

Just as an aside, almost all Google apps have at least a serviceable keyboard control layer that you can find by pressing '?'. This has helped my productivity using say Gmail tremendously.

That's actually not obviously safe at all, you are now basing your recent stands if behavior that in your own estimation is not desired. This creates a really weird incentive structure for legislators and regulators alike.

Thanks for all of your work! I realized how gripe-y this sounded coming back and reading it now. I also would like to mention, that I updated this evening and found it to be much more stable, even if sometimes it hiccups for a minute or tw

Is this is using LSP, and therefore RLS, I hope it doesn't suffer from the constant silent aborts I get using the Rust plugin on VSCode. Everything is nice and fluid with Auto complete, error and warning tagging, and definition-on-hov

Looks like your playground is based off Ellie, which is a great choice. However, it seems that there is an issue with downloading the Elm compiler. I'm getting a network failure from ellie's CDN(NAME_NOT_RESOLVED). Other than th

I've never really heard the fan at all, a light wooshing occasionally during compilation. I often have 20-30 tabs open on chrome, vs code, Android studio, gimp, an Android emulator, four or five terminals, a BEAM VM, a redis instance,

I just recently bought a Hades Canyon specifically because Apple doesn't upgrade the Mac mini, won't drop the price, and made it less user-serviceable. I would have dropped the cash on a Mac mini if it had the Kaby Lake G and cou

I'd love to hear more about your troubles with Scala, and any examples of "clean code being hard to write". Do you think this had more to do with a lack of experience with strongly typed functional languages, or more to do w

Actually just a method of enabling default classes for certain control sequences would be great, or some simple configuration for ie accessibility defaults(auto IDs, roles, etc). Give me that in a Markdown implementation and that's 99

Try turning it over to non-technical people. You will be surprised at how non-intuitive html can be, and what extremely nasty things they will do when they decide to learn just a little bit, ie style attribute hacking galore. If you want

I can't speak to Facebook's intentions or policys(I don't use big blue app at all), but many sites use tools like Full story to discover bugs or watch a customers user journey to discover flows that aren't working well.

Definitely still a thing, but development looks like it's slowed a bit. Maybe the Manas team is overwhelmed? 550 open issues and 130 open PRs. Nice language though, hope things improve!

You basically just described Google's Flutter framework. It's currently only mobile but I see it moving into this space at some point - or already is I guess if you count Fuschia.

Definitely not general purpose, but it has nothing asking the line of implicits and implicit type conversion and the such that makes reading Scala code impossible to read, if not write, without a tool like IntelliJ.

Scala's flaw - and Elm's strength - is it is a massive language that allows for a large amount of magic to happen. Elm is by comparison tiny and extremely explicit, and error messages thrown by the compiler are almost always supe
