I take a look at the list and found this: https://github.com/prospero78/Oberon07ru Looks interesting. I wonder how hard/easy to port this to Linux/Mac, for example.

Are you interested in academic work/research? If yes, I think a M.Sc suits you. And perhaps continue till you get a PhD. If not, hmm probably not. You can learn most of practical knowledge via Udemy/Coursera/YouTube etc these

Imagine you are interviewing a developer and find this line in his/her CV: Personal achivement: - I built my own OS and C compiler Looks really impressive today, but perhaps it was the norm 3 or 4 decads ago. Anyway, I envy such people

AFAIK there is no significant effort to implement full C99 compatibility (let alone the newer C standards, and C++ as well).

I started learning Delphi in 2003 (or 2002?) when in high school. At that time, not many of us were interested in programming, probably only the "geeks". Of course, typically high schoolers prefer sports, online games, or music. I

1. You also shouldn't build apps because people hate downloading them. 2. That's what Spotify and other companies are doing. Spotify provides both web and desktop version. Oops I mean three: web, desktop, and natime mobile. So, w

Many many years ago (during undergraduate days), we used to download MKV animes at campus lab (yea yea bad practice, I know). Typically, we didn't have admin rights to install the necessary codecs for watching those movies. Guess what?

I still remember Pidgin very well. Back in 2006 (or 2007?), most of my campus friends used YM on Meebo. I used Pidgin until 2011, I guess. There was Pidgin portable, which was very easy to use on computer labs where you don't have inst
