Maybe Mullvad can help fight this type of nonsense?

Hope it gets more countries to do their own thing; it's rather insane companies are dependent on social media for marketing while they control 0% of that social media and can be wiped out by some silly AI (aka cheap; you don't wan

Freedom of speech only for a small part of only the US then? So not the ideal of freedom of speech, but the dictatorial version of freedom of speech?

Yes, but you cannot say that. We need more people, for money.

Yeah, I just always say 'it sure does!' ; not like people who make remarks like that will try / know how to try anyway. And if they do, even the largest prototypey crap we make can do 10-100x what sales/marketing expects

Ah! How many times I played that game. I missed it on the Amiga after and never unfortunately saw your game. Those old MSX games just had good ideas.

That's pessimistic. In 2040 we have a cluster of b300 equals or more in our phone.

Yep, and also at the same pricing, so then why not go for established providers?

This is getting close to what I would want; I would like it even better to just have eInk on one side and amoled on other permanently. I would probably get two and add a hinge between and hack some android to get to my perfect phone /

Related; here in my city, every event, restaurant, cinema, delivery service etc have all images / posters generated, very obviously, by OpenAI. ‘Authentic Italian’ and then an AI generated menu. This must hurt companies that used to ma

Still not in my own country; I see they were in the UK back then; suing over borders inside the EU is still expensive and pretty much advised against unless it's a lot of money. It was for us, but not compared to this effort; anyway

Suing over borders. Did I mention small company ? What would it cost me, in 2007, to sue a US company from my country in europe? With what chance of winning?

They held and stole quite a bit of money from my company when it was small 'for fraud'; it was a very hard time, and of course there was no fraud. It was a long time ago and I don't get angry anymore, but it was a nightmare a

Never had issues with bluesky, but i'm a lurker and I have a llm filtering (here on HN, X, bluesky, reddit etc) which removes political stuff and boosts stuff I likely will like.

Little sad it is like that, but at least local vendors have a chance now again. If they don't want to become 'the biggest' / make 'trillions', then you good service and 100k clients works fine too.

Yeah, I always ignore them, first in my own country (NL) and after that in EU. Even if they fine (which they don't for small companies/persons), they will not spend money/efforts to cash the fine anyway, especially across bor

It already is, that’s why I prefer companies I can physically visit. My hosting, email, payments for my company are now places I can reach within hours and just have a chat. In person, people are a lot less nasty and they cannot yet (…) fob

I just throw it in AI; if it’s tech docs, I tell it to build whatever is there, if it’s something else I tell it to give me max 5 points to tell me the meat of it. Either way, I will never read it myself. This works well for tech docs/

I like it for generating docs when I know they won’t be read, which is most presentations, vc docs, work docs, emails, etc. I used to write them carefully but no one read anything for decades now, at work (we have served many clients; 1000s

Unfortunately, I know more than a few companies who do that. The same kind of developer who used SourceSafe to just checkout the entire project (thus locking it) while busy with it. And then pop a intranetcrm_200826_0713.zip on SharePoint.
