This looks interesting. Has anyone ever done comparisons between this and jekyll?

I don't understand why the host list is finite. The one I use isn't even a choice. Also, why is this limited to Ruby applications instead of VPS performance in general?

This is really lame, especially if elegance is part of the judging criteria.

If anyone is looking for a movie database with a less strict terms of use, check http://www.themoviedb.org/ This is the service "used by many popular media centers like Moovida, XBMC, Plex, MythTV and MediaPortal." They have a pretty nice

I'm not quite sure of some of these resources. They mention neither Rails Tutorial nor Rails for Zombies, and the wiki links send you [to blank pages]( http://wiki.rubyonrails.org/rails/pages/HowtosInstallation ). They're more random than q

Switch to a sensible browser like Chrome. ;) But really, Safari feels incredibly slow compared to Chrome. I always get these strange delays/beachball moments when simply browsing and opening a new tab in Safari.

I agree that the default keyboard repeat settings are far too slow. I always slide the Key Repeat and Delay Until Repeat options to the very right (fastest and shortest, respectively).

I'd be interested in seeing how this works (source, docs, etc.), but unfortunately I can neither get jpgcrush nor jpegrescan to output anything.

I've only had the device for a couple of days now but haven't noticed any adverse effects. What prompted me to try it in the first place was [this ZDNet article][1], in which the author adds, "...my Skype video call to Jason Perlow was an h

It works totally fine with 3.0.2 (the only OTA update as far as I know), but I can't give a comparison, sorry. I updated the same day I got the device so I'm not sure how 3.0 was.

Also, if you're already using rvm, don't forget to do a `rvm get head` before. I always forget to do this.

I'd also be interested in some up-to-date guides on this. I've always used the .js.erb method Fowler talks about because it's what I see Ryan Bates do in his Railscasts (the last screencast Bates used this method is in [#240][1]). [1]: htt
