I wouldn't be surprised if they made a law making the family responsible for the crimes. This might not occur in this case, but I see lobbyists wanting money for all those movies your children watched for free.

Exactly, being a non profit only means that they distribute all their profit amongst themselves as salaries or investments. The data would be much better at the hands of an entity that keeps the data accessible and gives the authors a right

getting one prosecutor fired won't change anything, changing the system will. However, firing the prosecutor will be a start in changing the system.

Why is anybody not fixing it? Nobody even talks about it. A large majority of the tech world supported Obama. But the issue of piracy, prosecution and law never ever came up. Why is nobody bothered? When will this shit end?

People go overboard punishing other people. Nobody wants to fix things. The copyright system is broken. Nobody in power wants to fix it. Lincoln had civil rights, Mr. Obama, please help fix this mess.
