This is not true, unless a tax cut is actually passed which lowers taxes for the poor. (And the poorest already aren’t paying that much in tax. And FICA wouldn’t get cut, since that money doesn’t fund what doge covers.)

It’s an interesting question. Would doge suddenly have a change of heart if they were trying to compete with a serious enemy?

Sure, you don’t need to know the exact details. But you should absolutely leave high school knowing that you need to think about retirement savings sooner rather than later, or you won’t have shit. I remember seeing a chart in high school

And, by definition, DOGE is a massive conflict of interest for Elon. You don’t put someone who stands to make billions from reduced regulations on his personal companies in charge of firing said regulators. This is “how to avoid corruption

It’s another side of the same problem. We REALLY need data privacy laws in this country.

It’s not really ironic. You could spend a couple hours making yourself twice as good as using AI tools, or a couple hours making yourself like .1% of a better programmer, assuming you’re not banging your head against the wall anyways. It’s

As my wife, a healthcare provider, likes to say, “motion is lotion!” The body really doesn’t like being in the same static position for long periods, no matter your posture. Breaks & stretches are way more important!

It's definitely very political. But also very relevant to us, because Elon is applying tech business practices to the federal government. Move fast & break things (great for R&D, awful for organizations that are supposed to b

Not totally. But you might be surprised at the things you can do. Cursor has some template-like files where you can basically teach the AI “when we do X, do it this way.” Or you can change the global prompt to add the things it should keep

Great point. And if you fire all the insurance middlemen, but don’t get rid of the legal requirements which spawned those middlemen in the first place, you end up with medical professionals swamped with paperwork they shouldn’t have to deal

It’s not a false equivalency. The right frequently claims the government over reaches, and then enact their own Christian policies which have a tendency to overreach. Heard of those book bans? That’s conservative Christian overreach into st

Why people think it’s a good idea to put this wealthy dickwad in charge of one of the most (allegedly) important projects in the current admin is beyond me. Move fast and break things is a stupid policy to apply to public policy.
