Why not? It is basically a public domain license, it just uses more colorful language. IANAL, but I see no problem using such code in corporate environment. What are the risks?

While I agree with the spirit of your post, I think you are taking the argument too far in places. For instance, we are a small team of devs and Docker solved a real problem for us. Our deployment was once on bare OS and it was a nightmare.

Nice! Does anyone know, is it possible to train such models on RPi (probably not) or similar sized computer? EDIT: I guess the question should be: is there a RPi-like sized machine available which is more suitable for training ANN?

THIS!!! In open-source there is a huge difference between value generated and value collected. The people behind open-source projects are often clueless (sorry, but it's true) how to extract value from their work while keeping communit

Thanks! Setting "network.enableIDN" seems not to work, but this setting works: network.standard-url.encode-utf8 [0] [0] http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.standard-url.encode-utf8 EDIT: doesn't work either.

Nice - ideal use of flame graphs. When you are running out of disk space, you want to know which parts are using what proportion of disk space and IMHO this visualization is perfect for that. Kudos! On a side note, when I'm on a server

Of course, use cases are different. In my case I usually deploy either automatically or manually, but in those rare cases when you can't replicate bug locally there is nothing better than vi. But of course, to each his own.

Even more interesting: given the plethora of options terminals have for coloring, moving, erasing and similar, is it possible to hide malicious input from the shell too so that the victim is unaware of it?

Everyone is collecting as much data as possible, but few are in position to get all of the users' browsing data. Even fewer (if any?) make it available for sale. So there certainly IS interest in such data.

That actually sounds like a great idea! Or even better, two columns on the same site - on first one latest gaffe, on the second one proper news. You can't avoid having "popular" stories on the page, but if they compete with t

Nice list! We manage to avoid most problems with distribution by using Docker containers, but it brings its own set of problems and downsides. I would love to have a better solution!

No it is not. Whenever I use Chromium to see if some page renders well, I am surprised how slower it is. That said, it probably depends on the type of pages you are visiting, but startup time in FF is much lower in my experience.

I think you are taking my argument too far. Valid input doesn't mean it is safe to use in any context. It just means that anything which is invalid at the start shouldn't even have the chance to get in the system. You should sti

Genuinly curious: does '+' trick work? I would imagine any infringing parties would learn to remove plus sign and all after it before selling the database of addresses by now... Other than that: true, I hate incorrect validation.

I am not blaming lack of input sanitization, the bug is clearly still there. What I am saying is that input sanitization would prevent this attack because it will only allow valid characters to get to your mailer, which will exclude space

TL;DR: PHPmailer fails to properly sanitize input. When configured to use CLI sendmail, this can lead to arbitrary command execution. But then again, why would you send e-mail to just any address someone enters, without validating it for co
