A rewrite in Rust may attract new contributors, thereby aiding maintenance in the coming years. Especially if you look very long term, as in where the young developers are, you'll see a significant reduction in the amount of people wit

But they can only change their context, not the model itself. Humans update their model whenever they receive new data (which they do continuously). A live-learning AI would be theoretically possible, but so far it hasn't been done (in

GrapheneOS' Reddit comment shown in the article says "selling devices with GrapheneOS preinstalled would be nice but wouldn't be required". To me that sounds like devices with GrapheneOS preinstalled is not gonna happen.

I would assume CPS in the context of drug addicts are not just worried about basic living conditions, but also about neglect by the parents. I would be worried about the child of an alcohol addict, let alone an opioid addict. But this is ju

Does that mean if 100 people send files over a server, and out of the 100 recipients a single one spells the code wrong, all 100 transfers get cancelled?

Doesn't this issue get solved by reproducible builds? Using reproducible builds allows developers to publish apps on F-Droid using their own signing keys [1]. Those signing keys can then be verified by Google. In 2023 already, 2 out of

I'm surprised i2p torrents are still not popular enough to be offered as an option by sites like this. I'd assume there are many people who don't help out purely because of legal fears, something i2p could help with.
