There was talk about a project recently that does that, one called 'transqlate' and another 'sqlglot'. There were some nice comments about what people were using them for - https://news.ycombinator.com/it

I liked the demo! I have a couple of suggestions to make it a bit clearer - A youtube video is likely better, your video had constant spam comments and downvotes cluttering the screen. Loom itself seems kind of junky. If it takes a few minu

That's a really creative way to solve that problem! I would have spun up a temporary pg instance etc, but this is much nicer.

I've always struggled with fish stock, it comes out somehow bland. I've read different methods - removing all the meat and leaving only bones vs using skin/head etc. Do you have any tips? (also any tips for avoiding the whole

Some of his live demos take my breath away. I have to make notes to myself like "click the 'upload' button" so I don't forget during a presentation. It's like my brain switches to a mode where simple tasks are

There is a followup post saying that the module is disconnecting from the network after 11hrs, the cause seems a bit murky (I'd say probably a firmware issue but haven't looked in to it at all) https://rachelbythebay.co

For me C89 means 'will build anywhere' whereas C99+ means 'may or may not build anywhere', rather than a value judgement about the author. But my background was in firmware where sometimes you were using custom compilers

I'd love to see an example of this if you happen to have one available. I hit a startup-time issue in a previous life, and I wish I had spent the time looking at it back then

Who is your target customer? I periodically have to do this sort of mapping so it seems helpful to me, but typically they're one-off things so I can't justify purchasing a product.

It's really great. It reminds me of using overlay filesystems for tests so that you can maintain a clean read-only template and then run all your tests non-destructively on the overlay.

Great reply. I have some follow-on questions - Would you market yourself as an expert on these in a job search or as a developer etc, with additional expertise? Is this an area where companies typically need people full-time, or is it bette
