You may want to have a look at the `click` module for development CLIs in python. It certainly makes my life easier.

How do you know that's why you craved sweet foods? It could have been a number of other reasons and you're attributing it to the wrong one.

It's difficult for me to follow what you said. What specifically do you want to draw researchers attention to? Can you give an example? Your example above of "common working loops" and essentially think time around coding has

I similarly have multiple git accounts and repos. When I clone a repo i do so via SSH. When I am in the folder of one repo (say a GitHub.com repo) then the ssh account that cloned the repo is used. I'm not near my laptop, but it'

Yes, but only a small portion of people are working in tech, and those who are tend to be middle class white males anyway.

I agree and you've summarised what I wanted to say. One addition: social mobility is possible in almost any class based society. So using one such example does not prove that class in USA==wealth.

Dried peppercorns are not necessarily Sichuan peppers, which are distinctly used in Sichuan cuisine. So while it may be a staple in Chinese pantry (and mine too) it is certainly tied to specific cuisine.

That's my point. I didn't replace the argument with any other. My original comment concerned citation practices whereas you're arguing about something else. So it's not a straw man, but rather that we're having diff

I'm not sure you know what Strawman means. Are you a researcher? Have you published research papers? >> The options are: cite him, slight him, or prove him wrong. Again, are you a researcher? These are not the options. Also what

You do not have to cite every paper under a specific topic nor do you have to cite the first paper that introduces a paper. Why? Maybe those papers are not well written. Maybe a recent paper covers the idea better, etc. So no, he does not h

If it took less than 5 minutes to boot then I can't see why it wouldn't work. How would that work for other schedulers? Also, if a server reboots that's quite bad all round anyway. Hopefully you'd be notified directly.

What? In my experience, Germans don't refer to their ethnicity as German. Besides, what if they are mixed race? Those who claim to have German ethnicity certainly could be other than white. Quite a surprising take there @DeathArrow ...
