Hi, could you provide some details as to how you soundproofed your room? Which equipment, rough cost, time spent for setup, etc? Would that also make the room ideal for meetings and produce audio quality without echo, etc?

This made me laugh quite a bit. Nor sure why, probably the fact that the solution is an enterprised theme - I can't even imagine what that looks like. Besides, I imagine OP should customise the default or a new theme to suite their nee

What's with HN folk these days thinking peer-reviewed research is some infallible process that results in groundbreaking, objective research? You should absolutely be skeptical of ALL research. A responsibility of other researchers is

What's with holding Startups up on some pedestole? They can be slimy and most will fail. Working at a well known consultancy company offers not only financial security, but additional insurance, and pension benefits that a startup woul

$23 BILLION over 3-4 years is a lot though! Since Apple isn't confirmed we can only speculate, and if you're right that's crazy. What about Google cloud infrastructure and Sass that they deliver? Possibly this and data across

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but given you can literally buy grenades ... Can they be posted and delivered to someone else? I ask as both sound ridiculous on my mind

There may be more polished products from other companies, but fact is they do sell many other services, which perhaps in aggregate turn good profit? Like: Drive? Android (e.g. Play store)? Photos? YouTube? Google music?

How much coffee beans do you use? Perhaps it's not strong and basically flavoured water? I cannot imagine you're drinking 30+ espresso equivalent per day ... Do let us know as I am curious. p.s. regardless of potency of the coffee

1. Read the source code to understand which methods exist in each module, then document that somewhere myself if necessary. 2. Ensure your IDE has autocomplete so you can step through the suggestions when importing a module or calling a met

I am so confused. Are you saying your company will reveal personal information, without a users consent? What if the user doesn't want to appear on the winners list? What if they withdraw their consent at a later point? What if they li

Obviously if you're on jobseekers you're meant to make the most of what you have. £75 sounds like an extravagant weekly shop, even for a couple with a child.

Why do you think writing so many words per minute (170) is a gift? We have autocomplete for writing code that is likely more of a speed improvement than cramming out "words". I would think it gets to a point where wpm doesn't

But this mixes content and style, so would be difficult to update (for non technical users etc.). Besides, it's fairly bad practice and won't scale to sentences well.

What on earth are y'all talking about?! Buying unbaked grains to eat is to become self reliant? That's just unrealistic and makes no sense. Why not buy bread (as GP said), cut it, and freeze it? Surely that would be a minimalist a

Not sure why you're being downvoted. What you say is correct and a great idea. I'd second that: work in a large company or a startup (if that interests you) in London for a couple of years to learn the ropes and build your career.
