For me most changes are related to colors and text. Paths are quite difficult to edit.

I always found SVG a non-readable file for most images I’ve used. Yes, if you place a simple rectangle it works, but when you export an image it’s almost impossible to edit it manually. I like this edge on TVG, as a binary format is more op

It's a fantasy to see browsers start implementing CSS nesting natively. In the end, nesting is required in CSS as this determines the specificity of selectors.

With Wasm + WASI, you need to explicitly mount files and environment variables. Inside the Wasm VM, the Python interpreter, source code and dependencies only have access to a very reduced surface. Although you're right that if you moun

Hey! Dev here :) For external libraries, it requires you to mount the libraries with WASI when running the python.wasm module. Another option we're exploring is to use wasi-vfs[1] to include some common modules in our pre-built binarie

You get an extra layer of isolation, even at your development environment level. I remember a NodeJs CVE that was caused by a poisoned dependency. It was affecting people when downloading it from npm. There’s still a gap here to cover, but

Actually, Wasm goes into the direction you are pointing. A Wasm runtime should add a little overhead to the requirements of the Wasm module. However, it's true Wasm is not on that point yet. There are open threads about deallocate Wasm

That's how WASI is designed. You need to specifically mount a specific folder so it can be accessed by the module. The sockets support is not ready yet, that's the reason there's no specific limitation around networking. For

The component-model proposal makes this statement even more interesting. It will allow to set capabilities to the libraries that your Wasm module uses. For me, this is critical as in most language ecosystems, libraries gets the same permiss

Docker already have the community, tools and distribution layer. You can think as Wasm as another resource that can be run in Docker as it's today. You continue using the same tools with a new way of packaging and run applications

Hey! A WasmLabs team member here :). We're planning to port several runtimes as part of our WebAssembly Language Server initiative [1]. Porting things to Wasm+WASI is sometimes challenging. There are some deep-dives in our blog around

My new year resolution is to move from Notion to Obsidian. I found Notion unreliable in some situations and tbh, I'm not using the mobile application at all.

At the backend side, it makes easy to build websites. However, the UI layer is a bit complex to integrate with common framework libraries like Vue and React. Although, I still use it in some projects :)

Great to see so many new features in Rails. Tbh, one of the reasons I use it for certain backend projects is how simple to do complex things. Managing files and image variants is a pain when developing a site. Rails make it easy and even ad
