I am skeptical that anything the w3c puts out is "a solution" to anything other than increasingly complex design-by-committee recommendations that no one ever fully implements. How about just good graphic design?

Perhaps, but I think that if this comes to pass, we're going to have people who look and fuck like octogenarians for more than half their lives.

This is not merely a biomedical problem ("solving" aging). As others indicate there are societal issues, but one thing that doesn't get mentioned is the new problems that living a long time will uncover. Modern medicine has n

Not surprising and probably a good idea for anyone with a penchant for writing obnoxious things off-the-cuff. I'm sure his staffers send LOTS of email, however. Having a campaign website, lindsaygraham.com, means that there's tons

You never have "just a random citizen" in any jury trial. The process of jury selection is intended, among other things, to screen out people that are not likely to be biased in one way or another. The fact is the silk road was a

I fail to see what Oracle gets out of all this aggression other than an interminable legal fight and associated expenses, the scorn of developers everywhere, and a _very_ iffy future pay-off. What is the motivation here?
