That is one theory, and is the prevailing one. It is not necessarily correct. Regardless, it is certainly a consumer's right to store their assets in something that is not inflationary, as most do. Is the population holding empty real estat

You are espousing one form of economics which many consider unsustainable. Regardless, many assets are deflationary. Rich people buy real estate and commodities because they are deflationary, or at least not inflationary. There is nothing w

There most likely is. Even when the USD was on the gold standard, there were far more of these gold claim certificates we called dollars than the US had in gold reserves. This is the nature of fractional reserve banking, and it no doubt sti

Telomeres exist to prevent out of control cell reproduction, ie cancer. Turn them off and you get a very high cancer rate. That's not to say we can't end aging by extending them, but it's not that simple.

Even if the admission process had no "error" as you call it, there would still be kids who fail. Future behavior and circumstances are not predictable or controllable to that extent, no matter how good the admissions process is. Regardless,

That might be what you think, but you are not correct. As someone who was actually involved in ecommerce in 1995, I can tell this was one of if not the biggest concern for consumers. In 20 years, perhaps you will tell us BitCoin was not a b

That's great for us and the economy. Personally, I'd prefer my money to increase in value. I'm not going to avoid a currency for the benefit of the economy, nor would that be consistent with expected economic behavior.

You're totally right. The world is not ready, just like it wasn't ready for e-commerce in 1996. I mean, who's going to put their credit card online? Who wants to buy stuff without feeling it? BitCoin may always be more volatile than other c

My thoughts exactly. If you're going to declare something production ready, but don't have the nuts to call it 1.0, I don't believe you. Maybe 0.6.1 just has a nice ring that 1.0 doesn't quite get.

JSON is just a streamable as XML, if not more so. Customers demanding JSONp is not a good reason to not use JSON. So having dismissed your two points, I think it's safe to say XML does not have any huge advantage over JSON. Certainly minor

Indeed. XML is a bear to work with and the complexity adds little value. YAML is just annoying and requires extensive documentation. I still can't figure out why it's popular in the Ruby community as opposed to much clearer Ruby files. JSON
