I've upgraded one of my Rails4 apps to 2.1.0-preview2. Everything seems to be working fine except pry-debugger. What is it with the ruby debugger? It has always been problematic for me.

So - just now you're upgrading to Rails 3.2 - nearly two years after it was released? In 2016 you're gonna love Rails4 - its got some nice support for caching and client side rendering.

Didn't know that - I'll try it! What happens if you put a 64bit executable in a container they try to run the container on a 32bit machine? Or a Rasberry/Arm device?

I use Bootstrap, but it looks to me like Foundation5 is a better framework and is making faster progress. Especially I like Foundations use of SASS. Problem is - some widgets I depend on - like date-pickers and X-Editable - only support Bo

Surveillance is not about protecting us. It’s about control. Bingo. Mass surveillance is a tool to protect the oligarchs from its citizens. The terrorist threat is theatrical misdirection.

Then get left in the dust as Chrome takes advantage of undocumented features. We've seen that game before, played by microsoft. Other browser vendors know this: Dart is never gonna fly outside of Google's walled garden.

Just waiting for "Works best on Chrome" Silverlight and ActiveX have already shown the usefulness of proprietary enhancements. No thanks.

It seems like I've been reading about the difficulties of Python V2 -> V3 for awhile. Why is that? Is this Python upgrade unusually difficult/ambitious? Or is the Python community just very reluctant to jump on new things?

Rails4 has been great - esp like the ability to use Hstore/UUID/JSON/Array datatypes with Postgres.
