Here is a better link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_overload The link actually says iron overload can also be called haemochromatosis too so a bit confusing that that page says it’s inherited…

I would argue that having billionaires is pretty unnecessary for economies to function well. Accumulation of more money than can be spent in a thousand lifetimes is not a social good. Tax them as much as a high rate tax payer (at least) and

Yeah I was trying to explain this to another developer that packages end up being “finished” eventually and seem to continue to work exceptionally well without updates for a really long time. Something about immutability and the structure o

Maybe I can un-eject given the plugins system from Expo. I do not like the way they throw all your code around though and I think this ability to steal peoples work given the prevalence of LLMs to unobsfuscate code is problematic. You shoul

If I buy a phone in the EU can I keep this ability everywhere even with a UK Apple ID? Seems pretty nice having everything separate like this. I hope it forces them to allow different browser engines than Safari too.

Yes it's definitely not about winning, if you can get say 75% of Redis performance with simpler and memory safe code I'd say that is a big win and great advertising for the book! And maybe some examples of how performance can be i

So, just out of interest how close does this get to the performance of redis? It’s interesting to see a highly optimised production product compared to a presumably more trivial implementation I can read in a book. Still this might be a gre
