With GCC and Clang, you should use -isystem<thirdparty/header/dir> instead of -I<thirdparty/header/dir> for these include directories. This will suppress warnings from these headers. CMake also supports this

std::uint8_t is not required to exist on a particular implementation, for example, if the machine byte is not 8-bit. std::byte still seems pretty useless, though. There already is a built-in type for designating bytes: unsigned char.

Actually quite a few people don't run PulseAudio, as you can see from comments in that bug and the amount of votes the Arch Linux task [1] gathered in a short time. This is definitely going to be a problem. [1] https://bugs.

Starting from this release, Firefox now requires PulseAudio for sound on Linux [1]. ALSA can still be enabled at build time for now, but is not supported. [1] https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1247056

This is actually implemented on Linux/glibc: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X32_ABI You can compile C/C++ programs using this ABI, and get all 64-bit benefits without 64-bit pointers.

"systemctl reboot --force --force" should work in such cases. The reboot will be executed by systemctl itself.

A simple new int[] will work. It doesn't initialize the array (unlike the new int[]() version). You can use it with std::unique_ptr<> to simplify memory management.
